I got my nails done, it has barely been a week and 1 nail has a split and the other has broken right down the middle so bad I had to go to a & e. They filed so close to the nail bed it hurt. It was my first time getting a gel manicure and I was very happy with it. They were very quick and the result looked beautiful. The only downside was that they only accept cash, and although it showed £30 online, I was charged £32. After a disappointing Shellac removal elsewhere, I visited Glade Nails on Widmore Road in Bromley hoping to get my nails back into good condition, and I’m so glad I did. The lovely owner immediately spotted that I still had a layer of old Shellac left on my nails from the previous salon. I hadn’t originally planned to have another Shellac manicure so soon because I was worried about further damage from the removal process, but my husband encouraged me to try a new salon in central Bromley with good reviews … and Glade Nails absolutely lived up to them. The owner (I really wish I’d caught her name so I could thank her personally!) took such great care with my nails. She carefully refined the shape and used a very gentle buffer technique to remove the remaining layer properly before creating the perfect French manicure finish. You could really tell she cared about the health of my nails and not just the final look. The French tip Shellac manicure was beautifully done and very competitively priced at just £30. I’ll definitely be returning next month for another appointment and next time I may even treat myself to one of their pedicures too! Highly recommend this lovely family-run business.
